In the news published on Milliyet.com.tr, our lithium-ion battery simulator, developed with domestic resources under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Serhan Özdemir, Faculty Member of the IYTE Mechanical Engineering Department, was introduced.

Summary:: “This simulator, which can test chargers, offers great speed and sensitivity to analyze the behavior of batteries. While foreign counterparts are high-cost, our domestic prototype was produced at a much lower cost and is aimed to be offered to the market at a cost of $1,500 or less when it goes into mass production. Thanks to this innovative device, a great deal of time is saved in battery and charging technologies, and test times can be completed in minutes, thus reducing research costs and increasing efficiency.”
